Travel Med-Surg Telemetry RN – One Day Surgery / Procedural Recovery – Evenings – Syracuse, NY

Start Date : August 15

Assignment Length : 13 Weeks

Shift : Evening Shift | 1x12s | Monday–Friday, 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM

Schedule : No weekends, no holidays

Location : Syracuse, NY

HumanEdge Health is seeking a qualified Travel RN for a Med-Surg / Telemetry Procedural Recovery role at a leading Level 1 Trauma Center in Syracuse, NY . This opportunity focuses on both pre- and post-procedure care in an outpatient surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide nursing care to patients pre- and post-procedure

Start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry

Complete nursing assessments and manage care transitions

Utilize Epic EMR for documentation

Coordinate with procedural and surgical teams for safe and efficient care delivery

Required Qualifications :

Active New York State RN license

BLS certification (must be current or eligible for renewal)

Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the last 2 years)

Experience must be in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center or a similarly sized facility

Ability to start IVs and perform phlebotomy independently

Must pass pre-employment health clearance, background check, and drug screening

No history of license suspension or professional liability claims

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior experience with Epic EMR

Previous procedural recovery or pre / post-op nursing experience
