Pay Rate : $1525.94 - $1672.04

Tell us about the unit(s) :

• Number of Beds - 48
• Number of Staff – 39
• Type of staff :

o Full Time OT / PT / SLP including PTA / COTA

o PRN OT / PT / SLP including PTA / COTA

Patient Ratios – 4-5 patients (5.5 to 6 hours of treatment)

Guaranteed hours : 36

All travelers are required to float

Documentation system : Meditech

Must have :

Must have In-Patient Rehab experience

Must have Acute care experience

Preferred or nice to have :

2-3 Years of experience in Inpatient Rehab and / or acute hospital.

Bilingual (English & Spanish)

NDT or brain injury certifications

List typical procedures performed on unit(s) :

Inpatient Rehab Occupational Therapy - patient evaluations & treatments

Acute (Ortho, Tele and ICU) evaluations & treatments

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS :

Active OT or PT license in Texas

Floating Area(s) :

Acute care

Dress Code :

Scrub Color

o PT / OT : Sage green / olive scrub top, black scrub pant, sage green scrub jacket. White or black undershirts only

Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy

Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed

Unit Guidelines / Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

Start time is 8 : 00 AM

Attendance is monitored

Work minor / major holidays

All travelers are required to float

Weekends and On call(if any)

2 weekend shifts a month with a flex day before or after weekend day

No on call

Required Qualifications

Occupational Therapist, Rehab

Experience : 2 years

Licenses : OT-TX

Certifications : BLS-AHA

SSN Required

DOB Required

Work History : Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year

Must have In-Patient Rehab and / or hospital experience

All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Skills / Advanced Skills Needed : (candidates with these skills will be considered first)

2-3 Years of experience in Rehab and / or acute hospital.

Bilingual (English & Spanish)
