LOCUM NP / PA - Emergency Medicine

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a Locum position to join our dynamic Emergency Medicine team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality treatment and exceptional patient outcomes.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Perform thorough patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in collaboration with physicians and nursing staff.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies.
• Initiate and manage treatment plans, including prescribing medications and performing procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and preventive care strategies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practice guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
• Stay current with medical advancements and evidence-based practices in emergency medicine.
• Qualifications :
• Current NP or PA licensure in [Insert State].
• Certification from an accredited NP or PA program.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; PALS certification preferred.
• Previous experience in emergency medicine or urgent care setting preferred.
