Operating Room Materials Technician

Note : Direct hire full-time role.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Supply Chain Technician to support the inventory and supply management needs of the Operating Room (OR). This role involves hands-on work with stocking, replenishing, and tracking surgical supplies, with a strong emphasis on maintaining par levels and ensuring the availability of critical items based on daily caseloads. The ideal candidate should possess inventory experience, be physically capable of lifting and moving boxes, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Stock supply chain items specifically for Operating Room use.
• Monitor par levels and perform timely reordering to maintain inventory.
• Assess daily caseloads to identify high-usage items and adjust inventory priorities.
• Restock supplies and ensure items are placed in designated OR storage areas.
• Spend the first 2 hours each morning unloading and moving boxes (20–30 lbs).
• Track product usage and inventory movement using PeopleSoft or similar ERP system.
• Communicate effectively with OR staff, vendors, and supply chain team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized stock area.
• Stay on feet and mobile throughout the majority of the workday.
• Ensure accurate documentation and inventory data entry.
• Support overall day-to-day operations of the supply chain in the OR.
