Overview
The Pictsweet Company is looking for an experienced Agriculture Field Representative. The Agriculture Field Representative will assist Field Manager plan, direct, and coordinate agriculture field activities between the plant and growers.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: Must be knowledgeable of food processing principles, quality control, HACCP, GMP, and personnel management. Must be a proven leader, with the ability to organize and direct subordinate personnel. Must be experienced in preventive maintenance programs.
EDUCATION: College Degree in Entomology, Agriculture, or Horticulture preferred, but
4 – 8 years experience in food industry may be substituted for a degree.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Must possess an advanced understanding of agriculture, entomology
and harvest equipment. Must possess good communication skills (verbal and written). Must be bilingual, English/Spanish. Must be able to work with little or no supervision
Be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position will work in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. Some office work will also be required.
OTHER: Must be able to work extended hours (evenings and dawn). Must be able to travel. Must be able to be away from home for a month at a time.
