Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in electrical and control system design for industrial equipment.
• 5+ years of experience with PLC and HMI programming. (Allen-Bradley PLCs, Rockwell Automation, Siemens SIMATIC PLCs)
• Strong understanding of 480VAC power system design and protection per the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Demonstrated experience performing short circuit rating and coordination studies.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to support commissioning and customer site work.

A major client of Insight Global is looking for an experienced Electrical controls Engineer. This candidate must be technically sharp and brings a positive, “can-do” attitude to work each day.  This person will be working closely with our engineers, clients, account managers and suppliers to further advance our industry leading product line.

The Senior Control Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, detailing, and programming electrical power and control systems for automated blast and paint booth installations, including integration of subsystems. This role involves creating detailed schematics, programming automation platforms, and ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA, and applicable hazardous area standards.
