Nurse Practitioner (NP) Allergy and Immunology | DIRECT HIRE - Dallas, TX

Established, award-winning private practice has a Direct Hire opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) of at least 2 years in a private practice, background in Allergy and Immunology to become a full-time, permanent part of our three-Provider practice located in Dallas, TX 75231. REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2+ years as Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • 2 years experience in private practice (Allergy or Immunology HIGHLY PREFERRED, )
  • Immunotherapy, vaccines, injections; diagnose, manage, and treat allergy asthma, & immune-related patients
  • Immunology, immunotherapy, respiratory care, PA, vaccines proficiency
  • Administration of prescribed medications, allergy / immunotherapy injections.
  • Experienced within immunotherapy vial mixing procedures
  • IV Nurse / Infusions nurse background PREFERRED

    • LICENSE & CERTIFICATION

  • Current, valid Texas RN license
  • APRN | FNP-BC Board Certified preferred

    • SALARY : $118,560 to $124,800 / year

    PLUS : Yearly Bonus

    SCHEDULE : Full-time, Tues to Fri | 9a - 5p

    One (1) Saturday AM shift needed per month to provide shots in Plano

    JOB SUMMARY

  • Allergy testing, vaccines, shots
  • Prepares, records patient history, develop & implement a plan of care
  • Examine & treat follow up patients; Orders and interprets laboratory tests, makes diagnosis
  • Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, treatment regimens, dosages and instruct patients in correct usage
  • Monitors patient’s progress or responses to treatments
  • Understands the process of mixing extracts
  • Administers injections and immunizations.
  • Performs diagnostic test and therapeutic procedures, within the scope of the practice
  • Educates and informs patients about progress of evaluation and treatment
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments, specifically allergy / immunotherapy injections
  • Performs immunotherapy vial mixing procedure
