Are you an experienced Maintenance Mechanic with a knack for solving complex mechanical problems? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. We are looking for a dedicated, resourceful, and skilled individual to fill the role of a Permanent Maintenance Mechanic. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment, reducing downtime, and improving overall productivity.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Maintenance Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include :

The ideal candidate will have the following :

1. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.

2. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

3. Utilizing PLC knowledge to diagnose and repair complex equipment malfunctions.

4. Working closely with the production team to identify potential issues and implement effective solutions.

5. Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

6. Assisting with the installation and setup of new manufacturing equipment.

7. Documenting all maintenance and repair work for future reference.

8. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.

9. Responding promptly to emergency breakdowns and resolving issues as quickly as possible to minimize downtime.

Qualifications :

To be considered for the Permanent Maintenance Mechanic position, you must possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in the Manufacturing industry.

2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

3. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

6. High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

7. A commitment to safety and a strong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

8. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.

9. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

10. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field or relevant certification is preferred.
