The estimated base salary range for this role is “$85,000 to $100,000” per year.
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient scheduling, training, and performance management to support production goals. Responsibilities include developing preventive maintenance protocols, enforcing safety standards, resolving operational issues, and ensuring quality output while collaborating with management to address concerns and improve processes.

What will you do?

  • Schedule team to maximize production efficiency and minimize overall cost to the related department or facility.
  • Leverage all maintenance resources effectively to achieve operational performance objectives in areas of Safety, Downtime, Scrap, and Quality.
  • Developing and leading predictive and preventive maintenance protocols and handling any emergencies as they arise
  • Manage crew training through engagement and mentorship to effectively meet business needs.
  • Enforce safety standards including maintaining good housekeeping.
  • Regularly evaluate employee performance and provide appropriate level of coaching to ensure a successful operation.
  • Ensure production outputs meet necessary customer and company quality specifications.
  • Confer with management or employees to resolve problems, complaints, or grievances.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises team of up to 20 or more maintenance technicians

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • 3+ Years’ of technical experience in a Manufacturing environment required
  • SAP experience
  • Microsoft office experience

About the location (Macon GA)

Our Macon Plant, one of twenty Armstrong plants in North America, employs over 400 people working on rotating shifts, 24/7, in the manufacture and shipment of acoustical ceiling tile to Armstrong's customers. Located approximately 85 miles south of Atlanta, the Macon facility has 33 acres under one roof, or 1.5 million square feet of floor space. It is the largest ceiling tile factory in the world. The operations are complex, automated, use the latest modern management technology, and manufacture a wide range of commercial and residential ceiling products.

Macon, also known as the "Cherry Blossom Capital of the World", is in the heart of Georgia and marks a historical crossroads in the south.
