Position Responsibilities

• Regulates access to the premises by monitoring the comings and goings of staff, visitors, and other individuals to deter theft and prevent unauthorized entry.
• Acts promptly in response to alarms and dispatch notifications, analyzing the situation and choosing an appropriate response in line with available information and authority boundaries.
• Carries out routine surveillance of facility buildings and surrounding grounds to detect any behavior or conditions that may threaten the safety or security of the Medical Center.
• Enforces facility rules by issuing warnings and, when required, detaining or escorting individuals from the premises, using physical force only when justified.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s license with no more than 4 points
• 5+ Years of previous security experience prior experience in law enforcement / military preferred
