Security Officer Front Desk Access Control

As a Security Officer Front Desk Access Control in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing a welcoming presence while monitoring access and assisting with security-related matters. Your role involves managing entry points, responding to inquiries, and supporting alarm panel and access control functions. By delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a visible presence, you will help to deter incidents and contribute to a positive environment. Pay Rate : $20.20 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Fri 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sun 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with building management and / or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with building occupants and visitors, addressing inquiries and providing information about the location.
  • Support Allied Universal management by reporting security-related concerns or unusual activity observed at the front desk area.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
