Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to project closeout
• Coordinate daily operations with subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff
• Develop, maintain, and drive construction schedules to meet deadlines
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, safety, and quality
• Manage inspections, RFIs, and submittals to ensure compliance with plans and specs
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
• Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Track project progress, prepare reports, and communicate updates to project management and clients
• Resolve field issues quickly to avoid delays or budget impacts
• Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation of job site activities
• Support and mentor assistant superintendents and field staff
• Collaborate with Project Managers to forecast manpower, equipment, and material needs
