    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active IN license or IMLC
  • Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (Certification within 5 years of residency)
  • DEA : Active DEA Certification
  • Certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
  • Experience : Minimum 2 years in specialty
  • Other Qualifications : Proficiency with EMR systems; ability to independently place and manage clinical orders via Vemsta platform; flu and COVID vaccinations required or appropriate exemptions accepted

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform comprehensive inpatient gastroenterology evaluations, consultations, and procedures
  • Provide call coverage during assigned shifts, including weekend and overnight availability
  • Conduct endoscopic and colonoscopic procedures, including biopsy, dilation, and manometry
  • Participate in daily rounding and patient management
  • Complete all documentation and order entries in Epic and Vemsta systems promptly
  • Attend mandatory orientation prior to first assignment
