Seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join the FDG Data Support and Analytics team. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, governance, and downstream flow of reference data across Nationwide's financial systems. As a member of our reference data team, you will become skilled in the use of Data Relationship Management (DRM) and Data Relationship Governance (DRG) tools. Your expertise will support the accurate and efficient movement of data, enabling informed decision-making across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop a deep understanding of reference data and its governance framework.
• Monitor and manage how reference data flows to downstream systems, ensuring consistency and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners, particularly data stewards, to support enterprise-wide data initiatives.
• Provide exceptional customer support, acting as a trusted advisor and resource for data-related inquiries.
• Demonstrate a strong affinity for learning new technologies and applying them to drive continuous improvement in data processes and systems.

This is a hybrid position located in Columbus Ohio and you will be required to come into the office two days per week.

Senior Analyst Job Description

As a Senior Analyst, you'll consult on changes in the financial systems environment and provide impact analysis on those changes. Primary domains include business rules (interfaces), reference data, reporting and allocations. In addition, you'll help support the data governance structure, standards and procedures and participate in data quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships : Reports to Manager / Director.

Typical Skills and Experiences :

Education : Undergraduate studies in business, accounting, mathematics, computer science, management information systems or a related field with comparable work experience preferred.

Experience : Three years of demonstrated experience in business consulting and analysis involving business process analysis and design, performance improvement, problem solving, planning, coordinating and organizing.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills : Accounting / finance background; process management; continuous improvement approach. Analytical and problem solving skills; comfortable learning and using new software and familiarity with common desktop tools; capable of performing in a production oriented environment, while meeting service level agreements; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
