Key Responsibilities

  • Employ radiographic and CT methods to produce accurate diagnostic images for evaluation by physicians.
  • Engage actively with radiologists and the care team to facilitate precise diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and fine-tune equipment for optimal imaging results.
  • Uphold radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep.
  • Deliver compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging journey.
  • Contribute to a well-organized and safe imaging environment.

Education Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
  • Certifications Needed

  • ARRT certification (CT and / or Radiography).
  • Current BLS certification or ability to secure it within three months of hire.
  • Essential Skills

  • Solid understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving circumstances.
  • Detail-oriented approach coupled with a deep sense of accountability.
  • Comfortable with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging technologies.
