Architectural Designer – Senior role at Gensler. Kansas City office seeking entrepreneurial and creative individuals with experience in mixed-use, hospitality, sports, workplace interiors, and education. Your Role

Lead a team of architects and designers to deliver architectural projects from concept through build. Utilize industry experience and technical acumen to drive client projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across the firm to sustain client relationships and promote an interdisciplinary approach to design quality and excellence.

What You Will Do

• Lead assignments including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration
• Provide design support for organization, production, and execution of projects
• Collaborate with internal / external teams, professional consultants, and strategic partners
• Engage in design iterations with team members, generating and modeling in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape and / or other software, in conjunction with Adobe Creative Suite
• Contribute to proposals and interview strategy to secure project opportunities
• Mentor junior designers and assist in leading multiple projects with a collaborative approach
• Help nurture and sustain client relations
• Promote an interdisciplinary design approach within the team and firm
