Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for Extended Care, Afternoon Hours

Job Details:

• We are seeking a compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our Fort Lauderdale South office for our extended sick visits
• Full-time - 3 days per week - 12:30pm-9pm
• 2 weekends per month:
  • Saturdays: 1pm-8pm
  • Sundays: 12pm-5pm

Education:

• Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam
• Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006 must be board certified.
• Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB

Licensure/Certification:

• Current, unrestricted license in the state of Florida
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Experience:

• Must have 2 years of general pediatric experience and be comfortable working independently
