A company is looking for a Head of Webnovels Legal.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice to support business priorities and initiatives

Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and licenses with third-party vendors

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks related to privacy and online safety

Required Qualifications

Lawyer called to the Bar in Ontario with 8-12 years of relevant experience

Experience with privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA

Knowledge of content moderation and user-facing online services

Experience in policy and government relations work

Strong drafting and negotiation skills for complex commercial agreements
