Camp Assistant Director - Befor and After School Programs

Job Summary

To assist the Director in the coordination, facilitation, and supervision of a quality Before & Afterschool Camp, which includes the following developmentally appropriate activities that engage children ages 3-12 in various Recreational, Educational, and Cultural programs. This position is also responsible for assisting the Camp Director with all administrative functions and supervision of Camp staff.

Position Summary

• Support the daily operation of a childcare camp program and ensure compliance with the Department of Children and Families, YoungStar, and MKE Recreation Department.
• Assist with the rec ruitment, supervision , orientat ion , training, and coaching of camp staff as required.
• Support the effort alongside the director, principal , and day school staff in recruiting and retaining students for all Camp program activities.
• Participate in the completion, collection, and maintenance of all written paperwork , including billing and fee collection, payroll (TCP and Timesheets), attendance, student files, staff files, accident / incident reports, supply requisitions, program plans, budgets, self-assessments, action / improvement plans and any other written documents regarding the camp program.
• Participate in the annual mid-year reviews to discuss Camp performance with the Director, Principal, and assigned Recreation Supervisor. Support the end-of-year review process as required as well.
