About the role
The People Operations Manager will lead and oversee the core People processes that support the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a high-quality employee experience. This role combines strategic HR initiatives with operational excellence, scaling with well-designed processes, systems and policies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing People Operations, managing compliance across jurisdictions, and partnering with P&C peers to foster a culture of accountability, fairness, and engagement.
You'll be responsible for
- Oversee end-to-end processes for onboarding, offboarding, transfers (local and international), vacations, leave management and other related functions.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation and employee records management.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and P&C COEs to develop and deliver consistent people practices.
- Implement and maintain People policies aligned with local labor laws and company values, ensuring compliance with rules and employment regulations.
- Act as a subject-matter expert on themes related to the area.
- Manage the operational delivery of payroll in partnership with Finance and external providers (outsourcing model).
- Drive optimization of People-related processes, champion automation and process improvement initiatives within People Operations.
- Act as the first point of escalation for complex operational or employee relations issues.
We are looking for a person who has

Our Nu Way of Working
Our work model is hybrid and has cycles that can be from two to three months according to the business of expertise. For every eight or twelve weeks of remote work, one will be at the office.
