What You Will Do :

The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale AR is looking for a Welder for 2nd shift operations (Mon-Fri 3 : 00P to 11 : 30P). This position earns 8% shift premium after training period. NOTE : Training may be required to occur on 1st shift (Mon-Fri 6 : 30A-3P). Applicants must be able to accommodate the training hours prior to transitioning to the 2nd shift schedule.

• This position entails operating TIG weld equipment in manual and automatic configurations for welding case parts and material for the aerospace industry.
• This position entails blending smoothing and deburring surface operations on aerospace case parts as outlined in the work instructions to meet customer requirements.
• Set-up and operate TIG welding machines.
• Prepare parts for welding.
• Weld parts to specifications as outlined in work instructions.
• Inspect parts before and after welding.
• Complete required paperwork associated with work and work instructions.
• Maintain internal weld certifications.
• Conduct preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment.

Pratt & Whitney Springdale AR is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportations Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
