Position Summary : Extended Recovery Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) . In this position, you will provide essential support to registered nurses by providing high-quality patient care to post op orthopedic patients. Your role includes encouraging early, frequent mobilization, assisting with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and ensuring patient safety throughout their journey to recovery. Two (2) 12-Hour shifts 6 : 45a - 7 : 15p + built in weekends / holidays

Position Requirements

Education : High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.

Licensure : Registered with the State of Nebraska as CNA required.

Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Experience :

• Prior Nurse Assistant experience preferred.
• 1+ year customer service work in a health care setting preferred.

Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Essential Job Functions

Physical requirements : This position is classified as Medium Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements exceed those for Light Work.

Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical with a drug screen, background check and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
