We are seeking a talented Privileged Access Management Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team. In this role, reporting to the Director of Cybersecurity Infrastructure and Operations, you will design and deploy Privileged Access Management solutions that cater to both internal and customer environments. Your collaboration with various business units will be crucial in crafting enterprise architectures that not only introduce new features but also meet compliance requirements across multiple frameworks, driving ongoing improvements through automation.

The ideal candidate will combine business acumen with technology and security expertise, possessing strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to implementing security controls and risk mitigation strategies. You will work closely within a compact team focused on identity and privileged access management, collaborating with the broader COX Communications Cybersecurity team to align our security needs with industry standards and our common control framework.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Privileged Access Management services across various technologies with comprehensive knowledge of compliance and security best practices.
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC) for privileged user account access.
  • Collaborate closely with internal IT and client support engineering teams.
  • Identify and recommend security design improvements and enhancements in existing and proposed architectures.
  • Provide security and privacy guidance to product teams ensuring alignment with business initiatives and goals.
  • Advocate for security and privacy by design through effective partnerships with product, strategy, and engineering teams.
  • Work collaboratively as a subject matter expert in access management solutions across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timelines are met.
  • Mentor and contribute to the professional development of team members.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Security) with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Identity and Privileged Access Management. Alternative combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
  • Hands-on experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms such as CyberArk, PasswordState, or Password Manager Pro.
  • Production experience managing secrets / keys using Azure Key Vault or similar vaulting solutions.
  • Experience in building or operating enterprise-scale cloud implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing RBAC for privileged user account access in a production setting.
  • Integration experience with SailPoint (IdentityIQ or IdentityNow) or equivalent IAM platforms.
  • Delivered enterprise security controls that enable cloud adoption while enforcing privileged access requirements in production environments.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Current or working towards certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA, or associated cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Scripting proficiency in languages such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
  • Experience with Private, AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms.
  • Ability to translate business needs into effective and cost-efficient solutions.
  • Experience designing and implementing security architectures in enterprise environments.
  • Understanding of encryption concepts and implementation methods.
  • The anticipated salary for this role is between USD 99,000.00 and 165,000.00 annually. Compensation may vary based on the location of the role and the candidate's expertise and abilities. Additional compensation may also be available through incentive programs.
