Security Officer - Bank Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Bank Site Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and proactive engagement will contribute to a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. You'll serve as a resourceful point of contact, utilizing your communication skills and professionalism to address concerns as they arise. Pay Rate : $16.80 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sun 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the protection of people and property.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, unusual circumstances, and / or suspicious behavior according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter criminal activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
  • Support access control procedures, verifying identification and managing visitor entry as required by site-specific policies.
  • Work collaboratively with client staff and local authorities as needed during emergencies and / or incidents.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
