Miller Edge, Inc. - Engineering Team

IMPORTANT : This is a HARDWARE support position for electronic products and field installations - NOT an IT / computer support role.

Position Summary

We're seeking an Electronic Product Support Specialist to provide phone-based technical support for our electronic hardware products and field installations. You'll spend 98% of your time on the phone troubleshooting electro-mechanical devices, testing returned equipment, and supporting customers with product installations and service issues.

Primary Responsibilities

Phone & Technical Support (98% of role)

  • Provide technical troubleshooting for electronic hardware products via phone, email, and web platforms
  • Support field installations and service calls for physical electronic devices
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with electronic assemblies and sensors
  • Document all customer interactions in Airtable or similar systems

Hardware Testing & Analysis

  • Test returned electronic equipment to identify hardware failures
  • Operate test equipment to evaluate product performance
  • Analyze electronic devices to determine failure modes
  • Document detailed test results and findings
  • Technical Documentation

  • Develop product specification sheets
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and mechanical drawings
  • Supplier Coordination

  • Guide suppliers on testing and functionality of electronic subassemblies
  • Required Qualifications

  • Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent phone communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
  • Experience with electronic testing equipment and diagnostic tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Familiarity with documentation tools (Airtable, etc.)
  • Work Environment

    This is a hands-on technical support role requiring phone interaction with customers, testing of physical electronic products, and occasional field support. You must be comfortable working with hardware, tools, and electronic testing equipment.
