Civil Engineer

TRC's client has a direct hire opportunity for a Civil Engineer!

This position is with a leader in the design and manufacturing of custom enclosures and packaging for generators and other power equipment. They offer great culture and significant growth opportunities!

Key Responsibilities

Design and manage civil engineering projects, including site development, grading, drainage, and structural systems.

Perform comprehensive structural analysis and seismic calculations for building designs, ensuring they can withstand seismic forces in accordance with all applicable codes.

Ensure all designs and construction plans adhere to the latest version of the International Building Code (IBC) and other relevant national and local regulations.

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project specifications are met from conception to completion.

Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and quality control.

Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports.

Provide technical guidance and problem-solving solutions during construction.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on structural design.

Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis tools (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS).

Demonstrated experience in applying the International Building Code (IBC) to structural designs.

Proven ability to perform complex seismic calculations and design for earthquake-prone regions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
