Senior Manager, Cyber Operations

Job Description SummaryThe Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Operations provides oversight and leadership for the global 24 / 7 Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring continuous threat detection, monitoring, and initial triage and response across IT, Operational Technology (OT), and R&D environments. This role is responsible for directing both internal security analysts and external Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) partners, driving operational excellence, process maturity, and alignment with the organizations cybersecurity strategy.

Reporting to Cyber Fusion Center Leadership, this position plays a key role in shaping SOC capabilities, optimizing analyst performance, and ensuring timely, effective escalation and resolution of security events in a hybrid operating model. Key Responsibilities :

Strategic SOC Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of both internal and MSSP SOC analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
• Direct daily operations and workload management to ensure full coverage and optimal performance across multiple time zones
• Support onboarding, skills development, and career progression within the SOC team

Security Event Management & Operational Execution

Threat Detection, Response Coordination, & Tool Integration
