As a Security Professional Flex Access Control, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availabilitygiving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain order at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to support a secure environment. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license.

Pay Rate : $15.80 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Sun 09 : 00 AM - 09 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Perform access control duties by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activities
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and drivers with site-specific procedures and directions
  • Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established guidelines
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and / or hazards
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and / or other site-specific emergency procedures

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
