Rhode Island Licensed Pharmacy Technician

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Tech I.

Key Responsibilities

Handle incoming calls from members and providers, assisting with the prior authorization process

Maintain accurate documentation of approvals and denials

Utilize MS Office Suite for administrative support and ensure compliance with HIPAA

Required Qualifications

Verifiable High School diploma or GED

Pharmacy Tech License / Certification preferred; Trainee license considered

Strong computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet utilization

At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician or in administrative support within a pharmacy setting preferred
