Job Summary :

The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in providing

direct care

to patients undergoing dialysis treatments. Working under the supervision of a licensed nurse, this role ensures accurate documentation, patient monitoring, and emergency readiness to maintain the safety and health of each individual in care.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Accurately document all patient treatment information.

Assist nurses with pre- and post-dialysis patient assessments.

Monitor dialysis parameters and record on Dialysis Flow Sheets.

Report changes in patient condition to supervising staff.

Respond to dialysis-related emergencies and administer

basic CPR

if needed.

Support all emergency operational procedures.

Required Experience :

Completion of a hemodialysis training course.

CPR Certification.

Nice-to-Have Experience :

Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.

Required Skills :

Basic CPR and life support

Dialysis documentation and monitoring

Clinical patient care

Preferred Skills :

Emergency response familiarity

Knowledge of renal patient needs

Clinical communication

Treatment data entry

Medical observation and reporting

Additional Skills :

Flow Sheet documentation

Patient condition escalation

Physical sciences or laboratory familiarity
