Summary

The Boys Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is a vibrant, mission-driven organization supporting over 200 dedicated staff across 30 Early Childhood and Out-of-School Time programs. We’re currently seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our Bradley Street Club during afternoon hours. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. Hours are between 2pm and 6pm, Monday through Friday. Extended hours during school vacation weeks are required.

Duties

• Accurately enters members into the computer system when members are either entering or leaving the building.
• Ensures that all members are being picked up by an authorized individual.
• Acknowledges and greets everyone who enters and leaves the club's facilities.
• Provides detailed descriptions of Boys Girls Club, member applications, services, facility features, and hours of operations.
• Answers the phone promptly and redirects phone requests to the appropriate party.
• Assists staff in collecting parent signatures for permission slips.
• Handles guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously; communicates parents' finance questions / requests to the Finance Department.
• Maintains a clean; safe, fully stocked, and well-organized work area.
• Must be able to work without direct supervision and remain at the assigned post for extended periods of time.
• Understands all safety procedures completely and ensures that they are followed appropriately.
• Maintains a positive attitude and contributes toward a quality work environment.
• Assists in all areas of the club operation as requested.
• Communicates to the Site / Branch Director any and all occurrences involving staff or visitors / parents in the club that require attention.
• Participates in administrative staff meetings and trainings when requested.
• Other duties as assigned.
