• Must have NY license in hand
• Epic charting experience required
• Candidates will float between areas

Description :

MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Specialty : MS / Tele RN.

Shift : 4x12 DAYS with every other weekend commitment.

Must be available for some holidays.

First time travelers accepted.

Local candidates not accepted; must reside more than 75 miles from facility.

Patient care primarily for CHF patients, acute MIs, post-device care (pacemakers), and patients with arrhythmias.

Cardiac monitoring and emergency response duties include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Utilization of rapid response and code teams.

Experience required in IV therapy and phlebotomy including peripheral line care and management.

Respiratory care includes use of nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, and portable oxygen tanks.

Knowledge of isolation precautions is essential.

Floating to different units is required.

Daily patient ratio is anticipated to be 1 : 5 to 1 : 7.

Facility highlights include a tertiary care environment with a total of 528 staffed beds.

Scrub color is any combination of navy and white.

This position is in a dynamic team setting requiring adherence to established protocols and best practices.
