A company is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead development for their public safety software suite.
Key Responsibilities
Coach and develop team members to enhance their technical and non-technical skills
Advocate for the team's workload and work-life balance while ensuring high standards and meeting deadlines
Drive execution by owning planning, prioritization, and delivery, while addressing obstacles and improving workflows
Required Qualifications
Strong desire to support team growth and success
Experience in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
Proven track record of delivering projects and collaborating with various organizational leaders
Previous experience as a software engineer with knowledge of modern software languages and tools
Minimum of 2 years in a software engineering management role, managing at least 4 direct reports
