Key Job Details - PACU RN Travel Contract Location : Pueblo, Colorado (81003) - Southern Colorado healthcare jobs Facility : Outpatient Surgery Center Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025, End : 3 / 2 / 2026) Shift : Day shift, Monday-Thursday, 4x10-hour shifts (06 : 30-17 : 00) Hours : 40 hours per week No weekends, no call required First-time travel nurses welcome (with required experience) Estimated Weekly Pay : $2150-$2200 PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - Colorado or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience Certifications : BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA required) Experience with EPIC charting system Ability to provide care in pre-op, Phase I, and Phase II recovery Dark blue scrubs required PACU RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in pre-op, Phase I, and Phase II recovery Monitor and manage airway, pain, and recovery for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Perform patient assessments, medication reconciliation, discharge instructions, and follow-up calls Assist with outpatient surgical procedures (abdominoplasty, ENT, plastics, urology, general surgery) Start and maintain IVs, obtain 12-lead EKG / ECG, and manage monitored anesthesia care (MAC) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, effective patient care Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic medical records Discover rewarding PACU nursing jobs in Colorado and experience the best of southern Colorado while making a difference in patient care.
