Property Underwriter

A company is looking for an Underwriter II to join their E&S Property team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain an E&S Property portfolio by executing the department's business plan

Analyze and negotiate policy terms and conditions in line with underwriting guidelines

Underwrite new and renewal business by reviewing loss history and exposures

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years' underwriting experience

Knowledge of E&S property insurance products and underwriting principles preferred

Experience in underwriting, quoting, and binding profitable business

Familiarity with insurance policies, regulations, and trends

Ability to interact with external stakeholders and influence through communication skills
