Location : Crescent City, CA 95531 – California healthcare jobs in a charming coastal town known for natural beauty and outdoor recreation.

Setting : Family Medicine (pediatrics and adults)

Employment Type : Locum tenens nurse practitioner contract

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (10-hour shifts available)

Patient Encounters : Minimum 18 per day

Hours per Week : 36

Contract Duration : 13 weeks, with extension potential

Start Date : November 10, 2025 (ASAP onboarding possible)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $3500-$4150

Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements

At least 3 years of nurse practitioner experience in family medicine or acute care (panel management required)

Clinical experience with chronic pain management

Board certified or board eligible nurse practitioner (within 5 years of residency)

Active DEA license required prior to start

BLS and PALS certifications

Current immunizations for credentialing (Flu, TB, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap)

Credentialing process : 45–60 days

Healthcare Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive acute and chronic care to pediatric and adult patients

Manage a minimum of 18 patient encounters daily

Complete chart closure within 72 hours of patient visits

Provide high-quality care, including chronic pain management, in family medicine

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes

Ensure compliance with credentialing and documentation standards
