Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of acute inpatient experience and an active KY or compact license for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care hospital setting within the Physical Therapy department
  • Covers inpatient acute care and skilled nursing facility (SNF) patients
  • Assigned shift is 08 : 00 to 16 : 30
  • Schedule rotates between 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week
  • Primary responsibility is providing therapy to acute and SNF patients
  • Formal bi-weekly orientation is provided
  • Detailed work history must be provided with no gaps
  • Local candidates inside the 100-mile radius are not accepted
  • Travel pairs are not permitted except in certain unit circumstances

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient physical therapy experience in an acute care setting
  • Active Kentucky or compact license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification from AHA required
  • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be considered
  • Copy of driver’s license and two references required for consideration
