Location : Washington, DC
Schedule : 36 Hours / Week | Day / Evening Shifts (7 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM / 11 : 00 AM–9 : 00 PM)
Start Date : Must begin by November 3
No weekends, on-call, or floating required
About the Role
Join one of the nation’s top heart and vascular centers as a Travel EP Lab Technologist. This role is ideal for professionals with at least one year of EP Lab experience, including first-time travelers. You’ll support advanced cardiac procedures in a high-volume, teaching hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac electrophysiology studies and ablations
- Operate Philips and Siemens X-ray machines, GE Micropacer
- Monitor hemodynamics and EKG rhythms (inpatient / outpatient)
- Support device implants and explants (Watchman, Aveir, Pacemaker, Defibrillator)
- Document using Cerner and GE Cardiolab
- Maintain safety and compliance standards including flu vaccination
Required Experience & Certifications
Minimum 1 year of EP Lab clinical experienceACLS & BLS (AHA)CCI RCES or RCIS certificationExperience with Cerner, EP Lab monitoring, and ablation proceduresEKG rhythm interpretation and vitals collectionPreferred Qualifications
ARRT certification and Fluoroscopy permitExperience with 3D mapping (Biosense, Abbott / ESI)Familiarity with trauma or children’s hospital settingsSkills in groin closure devices, laser lead extraction, and peripheral proceduresEquipment experience with ViewMate, Siemens / GE ultrasound, laser lead machinesFacility Highlights
