Descripción del trabajoProvide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and directing visitors as needed. Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and concerns specific to the location. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly following Allied Universal protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
