Job Description

As a Security Guard - Auto Patrol Driver in Sandy Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned automotive locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing visible support throughout the area. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service. This driving position offers you the opportunity to interact with visitors and staff while supporting a welcoming atmosphere. Pay Rate : $16.75 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Tue 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Wed 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Fri 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, including areas such as vehicle lots, showrooms, and service areas.
  • Help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence and documenting observations during patrols.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help control access to the location.
  • Report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site leadership.
  • Assist with emergency situations and / or evacuations according to site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
