Job Description

As a Shift Lead at Super Chix, you will be responsible for overseeing the store's operations during your shift, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading the team to meet company standards. You will play a key role in maintaining a smooth workflow, ensuring the safety of employees, and handling operational tasks. The Shift Lead is a leadership position that reports directly to the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Leadership & Supervision :
  • Lead and motivate a team of team members during your shift, ensuring they adhere to Super Chixs standards.
  • Train, guide, and develop team members on customer service, product knowledge, and safety procedures.
  • Act as a point of contact for team members and handle any shift-specific issues or concerns.
  • Customer Service :
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by overseeing customer service standards and addressing customer complaints or concerns when necessary.
  • Ensure orders are accurately processed and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Operations & Efficiency :
  • Ensure smooth restaurant operations during your shift, including food preparation, order fulfillment, and cleaning.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring products are stocked and rotated according to Super Chix guidelines.
  • Handle cash register, process transactions, and ensure proper cash handling procedures.
  • Health & Safety Compliance :
  • Ensure all food safety standards and health regulations are strictly followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, ensuring a safe environment for both customers and staff.
  • Team Collaboration & Communication :
  • Maintain open communication with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager on team performance, store needs, and any operational challenges.
  • Help maintain positive employee relations and foster a supportive team environment.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making :
  • Quickly and effectively resolve customer complaints and operational issues.
  • Make decisions in the best interest of the team and the customer while maintaining company policies.
  • Qualifications :

  • Experience :
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced foodservice environment is preferred.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Skills :
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Physical Requirements :
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of a fast-paced kitchen and dining environment.
  • Availability :
  • Must be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
