About The Position We are seeking a Board Certified Obstetrician / Gynecologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland, starting Dec 1, 2025. This opportunity features 24-hour in-house shifts, providing coverage for Gyn, ED consults, and OB care. The assignment is ideal for experienced specialists seeking a dynamic, high-acuity environment. Job Details Location : Maryland Start Date : Dec 1, 2025 LOA : 120 days Provider Type Needed : Obstetrician / Gynecologist Schedule : 24-hour in-house shifts; must cover Gyn, ED consults, and OB Responsibilities and Duties Perform amniocentesis procedures Manage routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal and low forceps deliveries Make decisions regarding cesarean sections Provide coverage for gynecologic cases and emergency department consults Manage a range of obstetric and gynecologic cases as needed Additional Information Active MD license or IMLC eligibility required Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Must be experienced with high-acuity OB / GYN cases Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
