Water Resources Engineer

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct complex urban stormwater collection systems modeling; conduct open-channel hydraulic and hydrologic modeling; collect, assimilate and present data in reports, memos and public forums
• Lead production of design calculations and technical reports; lead preparation of engineering plans and specifications for design of green infrastructure, urban stormwater measures, flood control facilities, floodplain improvements, ecological restoration / rehabilitations, sustainable design, and stormwater conveyance systems
• Perform project / task management; participate in multidisciplinary design coordination meetings; lead and mentor junior staff; present work in public forums such as workshops, conferences, and community meetings
• Work independently in addition to planning, organizing and assisting groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on project / task
• Perform other duties as needed

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) The salary range in Minnesota is $74,456.00 - $106,365.00
