What role you will play in our team

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Media Relations Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing the company\'s reputation through the development and implementation of effective media relations strategies.

This role involves leading proactive and reactive media engagements, identifying topics that will resonate in the media, networking with media outlets, crafting compelling messages, drafting statements and press releases, and coordinating media events.

What you will do

• Develop and implement media plans that enhance the company\'s reputation and contribute to business outcomes.
• Interface often with journalists, editors, and media outlets.
• Prepare briefing documents, press disclosures, media advisories, and other communications materials.
• Coordinate and manage media events, including press conferences, interviews, and media tours.
• Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Respond to media inquiries and act as the company\'s spokesperson when necessary.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communications channels.
• Stay up to date with energy industry trends and best practices in media relations.
