Director of Technology Operations

A company is looking for a Director, Technology Operations to lead enterprise IT functions and manage vendor relationships in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead enterprise IT functions and ensure operational excellence across a distributed workforce

Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating renewals and evaluating new vendors

Oversee SOC 2 compliance program, including documentation, audits, and control maintenance

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Certification, Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, Public Administration, Educational Leadership, or related field, or equivalent experience

7+ years in IT operations, infrastructure, or systems administration

Experience managing MSPs and enterprise vendors in a nonprofit context

Strong familiarity with Azure, Intune, Okta, Salesforce, and Microsoft / Google Suite tools

Demonstrated success in compliance frameworks, preferably SOC 2 or FERPA
