Supplier Quality Engineer

Description

Key Areas of Responsibilities :

• Ensure the quality of materials meet quality standards and customer requirements through proactive quality assurance, continuous improvement, and strong supplier relationships.
• Supplier Development : Collaborate with suppliers to enhance quality management systems and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Quality Audits : Conduct regular audits of suppliers to assess their quality processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives at supplier locations to reduce defects and enhance overall quality.
• Problem Solving : Address and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
• Product Qualification : Ensure seamless supplier setup and execution of NPI material.
• Cost Out : Partner with suppliers to drive cost out of products in scope.
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive records of supplier performance, audits, and corrective actions.
• Training : Provide training and support to suppliers on quality standards, tools, and techniques.
• Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams such as procurement, engineering, and manufacturing to align supplier quality with company objectives.
• Compliance : Ensure suppliers comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Reporting : Prepare and present detailed reports on supplier quality performance to management.
