Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring at least 2 years of staff CVICU experience and a valid MD or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position located in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) within a mixed ICU setting
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12s from 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am
  • May care for overflow patients from other ICU units as needed
  • Floating within facility required, including potential float to affiliate hospital
  • Locals are accepted at the same rate
  • Completion of virtual orientation modules required on first day
  • Annual modules required for ICU RNs, recorded via transcripts
  • Travelers must not have worked at the facility in the last 6 months, and may not exceed 365 days on assignment in total
  • No time off (RTO) will be accepted after offer is made
  • Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year and will be considered case by case

  • Active Maryland or compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • At least 3 years of RN experience with a minimum of 2 years as a staff CVICU nurse
  • Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CALS
  • Two professional references required
  • Copy of certifications, driver’s license, and SSN required for consideration
