Overview

Valley Baptist Physician Network is seeking a Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon in Harlingen, TX. Join an established group with experienced providers in General, Hand, Trauma, and Sports Medicine. Valley Baptist Medical Center is a highly regarded 586-bed acute care hospital with a stellar reputation for service and quality.

Office located in MOB connected to Valley Baptist Hospital, walking distance to the hospital OR. Clinic is 2-3 days in clinic and OR block times, with clinic hours Monday–Friday 8 : 00 am–5 : 00 pm. Practice is 70% inpatient / 30% outpatient. Estimated 3–5 call days per month (includes General Ortho Call). The practice includes an Ortho Trauma provider who provides coverage at VBMC. Dedicated Ortho / Trauma floor. Must be BE / BC by the ABOS.

Responsibilities

• Provide Total Joint orthopedic care within an established multidisciplinary Orthopedic service line.
• Participate in clinic, operating room, and on-call coverage as described above.
• Collaborate with an experienced team including General, Hand, Trauma, and Sports Medicine specialists.
