Job Opportunity : Travel Food Services Manager (Temporary)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Food Services Manager to oversee daily dietary operations within a hospital environment. This 13-week contract offers competitive weekly pay and the opportunity to lead a dedicated food service team in a high-quality healthcare setting.

Position : Food Services Manager

Location : North Adams, MA (North Adams Regional Hospital)

Employment Type : Temporary | 13 Weeks

Start Date : November 24, 2025

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 10 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM (Days | 40 hours / week)

Compensation : $1,400 weekly (Taxable W2 : $640 , Stipend : $760

Overtime : $33 / hour after 40 hours

Position Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 4 years of management or leadership experience in hospital, institutional, or restaurant food service
  • 2–4 years of cooking experience, with strong knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and purchasing
  • Experience using food service EMR or nutrition software (must be noted on profile)
  • ServSafe Certification and CDM / CFPP preferred
  • Must have own vehicle and reside 50+ miles from the facility

Role Responsibilities :

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the hospital food service department
  • Supervise staff, schedule shifts, and oversee meal production for patients and visitors
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and accreditation standards
  • Manage menu development, recipe standardization, and cost control
  • Collaborate with the Multi-site Director of Food Services to meet departmental goals
