Descripción del trabajoLaw enforcement patrols Interview witnesses, victims and suspects in investigations Crime scene security and processing Arrest and charge criminal suspects 10 weeks of Basic Training 20 weeks of One Station Unit Training & on-the-job instruction in police methods U.S. Citizen 17 to 34 Years Old High School Diploma or GED Meet Tattoo Guidelines No Major Law Violations No Medical Concerns Paid Training and credentialing to strengthen your skillsets Monthly salary (based off pay grade and time in service) Housing and meal allowance for full-time Soldier 30 days paid annual vacation 401(K) type savings plan Full-coverage medical and dental insurance for Soldiers and immediate family member Paid tuition opportunities to continue your education Signing bonus - up to $40,000 in cash bonuses for completing training in selected Military Occupational Specialties
ABOUT THIS JOB
- THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY OR ARMY RESERVE
As a Military Police, you’ll protect peoples’ lives and property on Army installations by enforcing military laws and regulations. You’ll also control traffic, prevent crime, and respond to all emergencies. You’ll conduct force protection, anti-terrorism, area security, and police intelligence operations. You’ll also train in corrections and detention, investigations and mobility, and security around the world.
Skills you’ll learn align with Law Enforcement & Security, Intelligence Collection, Corrections and Detention. In addition, you could earn 29 nationally recognized certifications!
